and the flower of the day:

can you see the fly?
Previous life: where I wanted to be...career woman, happily married, perfectionist, control freak, tidy house, business running like a tight ship. First child arrives, fulltime working mom, can handle it all. Current life: where I want to be...stay at home mom to a pre-teen girl and girl/boy twin preschoolers, ditched the career (had the twins at 40), perfectionism took a hike, life out of control, untidy house and trying to keep household afloat! So I'm just hanging in there!!!

I can see it!!!
When the hippies won, it was the first time the people whom I thought should win, won. My Sister and I were cheering for them and were just thrilled when they won.
We both love that show, for the same reasons you do, to travel the world without leaving my house. One day though, I will get to Italy, Greece, France... one day :)
Wow, I can't believe your twins are into the Amazing Race! What sophisticated little viewers they are - my guys are still watching Scooby Doo and the Wiggles!
I was so happy with the outcome of this Race - almost as satisfying as watching Joyce and Uchenna win last year!
Count me in as a hippie fan too! I was actually contemplating letting Tristan watch AR (the title alone would hook him). Hmmmmm, maybe next season. I get such a kick out of watching his reactions to the commercials during AI. Between covering his eyes and ears that is...
WOW Nathan is a big discovery Fan like Mean Machines and Mythbusters but I never thought of letting him watch the Amazing Race.
The Hippies WON! RIght on. I thought they were too funny. Plus I loved how they worked hard at staying calm with each other. I didn't get to see the finale, Now I wish I had.
