We have an unwritten rule that we don't put any Christmas decorations up until after big sis' birthday. We kinda broke the rule this year, just by a day though. The weather was good and the twins had been bugging us since their return from Florida.
So out came the lights, detangling cords after cords, checking out which set worked and which doesn't and putting them up on trees that keep getting bigger and bigger and require another trip to the store to purchase more. But when nightfall came and on came the lights, there was magic in the air.

J wanted ours up this weekend so badly and I almost did it without Hubby, but was afraid that I wouldn't live that one down. J talks about it everynight, "When is Daddy going to put up our lights?" I keep telling him as soon as he can. I love the lights at night :)
I think I have to go and buy new lights this year. With the outdoor renos I know hubby won't want to put any on the house. I'll come up with a way....maybe this weekend we will get to it!
