cause to celebrate

Yesterday we had 5 of big sis' friends over for a delebration. She turns 12 on the 27th but this was the only day good for everyone. It was a great group of really nice young ladies: two she's known since kindergarten, two were from her previous school and one she just met.

They watched a movie while munching on popcorn and veggies and dip, played a few board games, ordered in pizza, bday cake and fruit, opened some presents, listened to music, played some piano. All in all an easy for me and fun for them celebration.

But the best part of the day was when hubby and the twins returned from their trip late in the evening. I couldn't stop hugging them all. They had an absolutely wonderful time and I'm sure the stories will be trickling in in the days to come. And the little ones didn't even mention my new hair!

My mother always said a true sign of a good haircut was when nobody notices. That means it just looks so damn good on you!!

Glad there back are ya? I would be thrilled to see them and I'm glad you had such a great party for Sofia. Miranda's used to be like that. FuN. She had her last BIG bash this past summer when she turned 16. Now it's smaller parties again.

Hugs

Sounds like the perfect party for a 12 year old! Happy Early Birthday to Big Sis.

And how wonderful that everyone is home and everything is getting back to normal.

The hair will come later.
