Everyone was better today and everyone's appetite is back. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it'll stay like that for a while.
Hubby was back at work today. We also realized that exactly a year ago today he missed another day of work. Not a good time of year for him it would seem. But it was much worse that this stomach flu. Much scarier. He ended up in the hospital with atrial fibrillation. His heart stopped beating properly. No real reason. Since then he's been monitored, put on some meds, had a few minor relapses, we all try to keep his stress level down and things seem to be stabilized. Thank God. To see him, a man who always takes care of himself by eating well and exercising, all hooked up to machines in an emergency room was quite a scare. It put a lot of things into perspective. It makes one focus on the big picture and not just the details. But one thing is for sure, I want to spend the sunset of our lives together :)
