ahh spring

• the extra laundry generated from playing in the mud and puddles
• entrances filled with three seasons worth of shoes/boots/coats/hats/mitts
• the familiar sound of birds that have returned: the geese and robins and annoying killdeer
• rediscovering lost toys that had been hidden under the snow for the last few months
• seeing the force of nature return with budding plants and trees and bulbs planted lst fall coming to life
• putting away the last of the Xmas stuff and pulling out Easter stuff
• wanting to spring clean the house
• and in honor of it all, I just couldn't resist yesterday and purchased some new coffee mugs: don't they look "springy" ? They sure have brightened up our morning!!
